Spreading kindness one flight at a time!

As many of you may (or may not) know, Spread Some Sunshine was born when our founder Faye began visiting places like the at The Winnie Mabaso Foundation in Johannesburg while working as a flight attendant with Virgin Atlantic.

Instead of resting on her layovers, she chose to spend her downtime connecting with local communities, sharing smiles and spreading sunshine wherever she could. On her most recent visit at the weekend, Faye and some of the flight crew spent time with the girls at the Winnie Mabaso Foundation, before heading to the Meriting township for Feeding Friday - where on average an incredible 800-1000 people are fed every single week. Together, they helped serve meals, proving that even the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference.

What started with one flight attendant choosing to give her time & heart has grown into the charity we are today - spreading sunshine across the world, one act of kindness at a time!
